Caramel Apple Dip 1
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 TB light corn syrup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 TB sour cream
3/4 tsp. coarse sea salt
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup and water over medium-high heat - DO NOT STIR.
Cook for about 10 minutes or until the sugar turns a dark caramel color.
Keep it on the heat and add the remaining ingredients.
Whisk until smooth.
Pour into a heatproof container and serve with sliced apples.
Caramel Sauce 2
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup half-and-half
4 tablespoons butter
Pinch salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Cook while whisking sugar, half-and-half, butter and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes
